Olkalou Disabled Children’s Screening Day We’re inviting children living with disabilities in Olkalou and the surrounding communities for a free medical screening day. This is an opportunity to assess children with congenital conditions, injuries, burns, cleft-related concerns, and other reconstructive or surgical needs, and to guide families on the next steps for care, referral, and possible treatment planning. What to expect Medical assessment and guidance by a multidisciplinary team Identification of children who may benefit from specialized care and referral Advice on follow-up, documentation, and preparation for definitive treatment where applicable Who should attend Children with visible congenital differences (since birth) Children with deformities after injury/burns Children with scars/contractures limiting movement or function Children with cleft lip/palate concerns or suspected related problems Any child whose condition affects function, comfort, or quality of life Important note: Screening is free.
